Nikki Fager is a Swedish artist born in 1991. Her art immerses in themes such as sorrow and loss and what these events might bring with them. Through repeated symbols and religious attributes, she explores rituals we create for ourselves, both cultural and private, when interacting with sorrow and loss, which even in darkness often involves some humor!
She graduated from Konstfack, University of Arts, Crafts & Design with a Master in Fine Art in 2019, and has had several group and solo shows throughout Scandinavia, at renowned institutions like Liljevalchs, Stockholm and Bergen Academy of Arts and Design.
