Resources for Artists during COVID-19

We have gathered links to what we believe are helpful resources to artists who are inevitably affected by the corona pandemic. A canceled show or loss of a day job... This is the time to show solidarity in the art community. Please feel free to add links in the comment field and we will update the article. This post specifically focuses on visual art, but some links will be helpful across disciplines. Hopefully you will find this helpful!

Funding:

Foundation for Contemporary Arts: Emergency Grants provide urgent funding ($500-$2,500) for visual and performing artists who incur unexpected or unbudgeted expenses for projects close to completion with committed exhibition or performance dates.

The Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation

Emergency Grants program provides financial assistance to painters, sculptors, or printmakers facing an unforeseen, catastrophic incident. Grants given on one-time basis for specific emergencies such as flood, fire, or emergency medical need. Maximum grant is $15,000; typical grant amount is $5,000.

Emergency Grant for Curators

The Emergency Grant provides funding for a curatorial project that sheds light on the world during this time of darkness. Priority will be given to curators who have a venue secured for their project and are greatly impacted by the challenges we are facing due to COVID-19.
